Standard Chartered (Thai) appoints new OCC Head

Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) Pcl. recently appointed Mr. Plakorn Wanglee as Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Origination and Client Coverage effective 29 November 2012.

Mr. Plakorn possesses over 19 years of professional experience in the banking and finance industry where he was successfully contributed to several high profile merger & acquisition, debt, equity, and markets transactions for Thai and international corporations as well as financial institutions.  In this role, he will be leading the Bank in strengthening relationship with corporates and financial institutions as well as enhancing the Bank’s capacity in offering excellence in products and services.

 

Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) Pcl., Mr. Plakorn served as a Country Executive for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Thailand.
