New Cabinet members endorsed

BANGKOK, 16 January 2010 (NNT) – His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej yesterday endorsed a new Cabinet led by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. Five ministers and deputy ministers were officially appointed.

Democrat MP Trairong Suwannakhiri was appointed Deputy Prime Minister. ??

Bhumjaithai MP Suchart Chokechaiwatthanakorn was appointed Deputy Minister of Transport.

Democrat MP and Former Government Chief Whip Chinnaworn Boonyakiat was appointed Education Minister.

Former education Minister Jurin Laksanawisit was appointed Public Health Minister. ??

Bhumjaithai MP Phansiri Kunlanartsiri was appointed Deputy Minister of Public Health.

HM the King will grant an audience to the new ministers and deputy ministers to swear in before taking office on 18 January at 17.30 hrs in Siriraj Hospital where he is hospitalized.
