KTC and JCB executives held press conference on business collaboration.

The firms confirm further marketing investment in promotional campaigns designed to fulfill the Japanese lifestyle of KTC-JCB credit card members throughout 2013. The press conference took place recently at Sui Tenru Restaurant, Okinawa, Japan.

KTC and world-class payment network provider JCB International have introduced their first KTC-JCB credit card in Thailand in early 2008, targeting Thai nationals with preference towards Japanese products, services and lifestyle, as well as Japan as a travel destination. The card also targets Japanese nationals working in Thailand. There are more than 55,000 members of KTC-JCB credit card presently. These members lead a life with distinctive styles with average spending of 13,000 Baht per month.

 

JCB is a global credit card brand and the largest issuer and acquirer of credit cards in Japan. The company has been engaged in credit card business in Japan since 1961 before branching out to other countries in 1981. There are presently 22.3 million establishments under the JCB network in 190 countries and adjacent territories. JCB credit cards are issued in nineteen countries to more than 77.5 million cardholders.
