Honda Automobile Thailand report sales volume for May 2011 at 3,674 units

BANGKOK, 17 June 2011 (NNT) – Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co Ltd reports its sales volume for May 2011 at 3,674 units in total, which accounts for 6.6% of the domestic automobile market of 55,703 units.

Looking at each model, Honda Jazz was sold the most last month at 1,103 units, accounting for 11% of the company’s market share while the figure for Honda City was at 928 cars with the market share of 9.2%.

Regarding the sales volume of subcompact and compact cars of Honda, the Civic and Accord models were sold at 964 and 275 units in total, accounting for 15.1% and 16.9% of the market share respectively.

Additionally, the sales of Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) Honda Freed were reported at 116 units or 9.1% of the market share while the figure for SUV/PPV Honda CR-V was at 288 units or 7.2% of the market share.
