Bangkok, 15 October 2012 – Hemaraj Land And Development Public Company Limited announced the Industrial Estate Sales of the first 9 months of 2012 being 1,952 rai (781 acres or 312 hectares), an increase of 61% from the prior year. There were 87 contracts comprising 56 new customers and 31 project expansions from existing customers, all new records. Of these contracts 43% are Japanese customers and 29% are Automotive industry.
For the first 9 months of 2012, Ready Built Factories and Logistics Parks rental grew by 62,997 square meters or a 40% increase from the Year 2011 cumulative balance. There are another 35,463 square meters of pre-leased factories to commence over the next 1 to7 months. The Ready Built Factory and Logistics Parks 2012 rental forecast still projects a 63% increase, being 100,000 square meters from the cumulative balance of 2011. Utilities volume demand increased 13% compared with the same period of last year.
