PM´s major events in US today thumbnail

BANGKOK, 23 September 2009 (NNT) – The Prime Minister will today conduct a web conference with Government House before attending the opening of the G-20 Summit and a speech by US President Barack Obama.

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has made plans to use a web conferencing system to attend to domestic matters today at 10.00 hrs as well as phone in to a television interview this evening. Mr Abhisit’s major events today will begin with the opening of 64th G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh.

Mr Abhisit will afterward meet with CEOs and representatives of the New York Stock Exchange. He will be granted the privilege of sounding the day’s end of trade before joining a round-table discussion with members of the USABC at the AIG building. In the evening, the PM will attend a dinner hosted by US President Barack Obama and his wife at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
