Freewill Solutions joins Column5 Consulting introducing SAP EPM solutions in preparation for AEC

7 June, 2012 – Bangkok:  Freewill Solutions and Column5 Consulting recently hosted a workshop entitled:  “Enterprise Performance Management” which was attended by top executives from leading Thai organizations.  The aim of the workshop was to introduce practices that leading global organizations are employing in the area strategic planning, operational planning, financial planning, budgeting and performance follow up.  Additionally, the workshop introduced a tool, SAP’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite that leading global companies are using to integrate data and processes from strategic planning to budgeting to performance measurement.

Application of these leading practices and tools will help introduce agility into a company’s planning, budgeting and performance measurement processes and will help increase preparedness for higher competition from approaching ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).

 

Ms.  Somporn Wongyai, Executive Director of Business Consulting at Freewill and EPM leader pointed out, “Today many Thai companies are using non-integrated systems (e.g., spreadsheets) to support the planning, budgeting and performance measurement process.  Due to the non-integrated nature of these systems and tools, the processes become slow and cumbersome reducing the quality and relevance of this process”.   In order to assist local organizations, Freewill Solutions teamed up with Column5 Consulting to expand its Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) consulting capability in the Thai market.
