PTT´ s 84 Tambons project wins Platts Global Energy Awards

BANGKOK, 4 December 2009 (NNT) – The PTT’s 84 Tambons on a Sufficiency Path Project won the Platts Global Energy Awards 2009 out of nominees submitted by 30 countries worldwide in the category of “Community Development Program of the Year 2009”
Mr Attapon Rerkpiboon, an Assistant Managing Director, Organization Communication and Social Affair, PTT, said that the project of the 84 Tambons on a Sufficiency Path had won the Platts Global Energy Awards on the Community Development Program of the Year 2009. The awarded project has been implemented following His Majesty the King’s philosophy of Sufficiency Economy in the development of people’s living condition in the rural areas with self-reliance. Those clearly reflected HM the King’s remarkable talents.
The Platts Global Energy Awards was found by Platts Company, one of The McGraw-Hill Companies, a leader of the power information network service company and a company to set the world-wide trading prices of oil, natural gas, and petrochemical products.
