The Deputy Prime Minister stated that he had tasked the Foreign Ministry to supply detailed information about India to be used during negotiation in the official visit of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva this November. He added that this visit would be to officially open trade and investment market in the country and enhance ties between the two countries.

Mr Korbsak elaborated that India was one of the main new targets that Thailand wanted to expand trade, investment and exports.
