Bangkok, 4 March 2010 (NNT) – Thai furniture industry captures the global warming trend in their designs. Interested people can visit the upcoming Thailand International Furniture Fair 2010 during 10-14 March 2010.
The Department of Export Promotion (DEP) under the Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with Thai Furniture Industry Club, the Federation of Thai Industries, and the Thai Furniture Industries Association, is organizing the Thailand International Furniture Fair 2010 (TIFF), under the theme “Living a Green Life.”
DEP Director-General, Ms. Srirat Rastapana stated that it is a great opportunity for Thai Furniture Industry to capitalize the rising global trend of ‘climate change’ and ‘environmental awareness’; therefore the concept of “Living A Green Life” is in compliance with this trend. She further noted that “TIFF 2010” is anticipated to be the most comprehensive furniture exposition ever staged in Thailand. It features the largest number of quality furniture businesses, revolutionary furniture designs, together with international exhibitors and visitors.
There will be over 200 exhibitors participating in the exposition, covering a total of more than 890 booths. This event will give business operators a chance to both exhibit their latest furniture designs and to seek business partnerships. The “TIFF 2010” is expected to welcome more than 33,000 international visitors from key markets including Japan, the United States, the European Union, India, the Middle East, Africa, Canada, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore.
The Thailand International Furniture Fair 2010 will take place during March 10-14, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
