Thai equities inch 15.20 points higher after the market closed

BANGKOK, 14 July 2009 (NNT) – The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) composite index ascended 15.20 points or 2.70 percent higher to settle at 577.75 points, in trade worth 13.92 billion baht at 16.39 today.

Top five most active values were as follows.

PTT closed at 222 baht, up 7 baht, in trade worth 1.216 billion baht.

PTTEP closed at 126 baht, up 4 baht, in trade worth 994.13 million baht.

SCB closed at 68.25 baht, up 4 baht, in trade worth 852.92 million baht.

BANPU closed at 314 baht, up 9 baht, in trade worth 682.05 million baht.

BAY closed at 15 baht, up 0.90 baht, in trade worth 667.23 million baht.

As for other major stocks, blue-chip SET50 Index gained 12.43 points or 3.10 percent higher to settle at 413.49 points; SET100 Index edged up 25.70 points or 3.01 percent higher to close at 881.42 points; mai gained 1.30 points or 0.69 percent higher to settle at 188.92 points.
