Gold price hits a new record and continues to rise

BANGKOK, 22 November 2009 (NNT) – The gold price in Thailand has hit newest record while continually rise in line with the global market.
Gold Traders Association (GTA) today reported the gold bullion shot up over 18,300 THB with the buying price at 18,200 THB. The price of gold ornament reached 18,700 THB per one baht weight and can be bought back at 17,934.28 THB. Two hundred THB increase has been seen in comparison with the price last week.
New York gold On Friday 20 November price closed up despite a dollar rise. Investors remained worried about the sustainability of the global economic reform .
The COMEX (Commodity Exchange) gold futures contract showed the gold price closed at 1,146.80 dollars per ounce. 4.90 dollars increase has been recorded after the price movement in the range of 1,132.50-1,148.50 dollars.
