Commerce expects 300,000 partcipants in the Thailand Best Buy 2009

BANGKOK, 5 December 2009 (NNT) – The Ministry of Commerce expected 300,000 people to participate in the Thailand Best Buy 2009 which is being held during 4-13 December 2009 at Hall 3-6, Impact Arena Muengthong Thani Complex.

Ms Srirat Rattapana, Director-General of the Department of Export Promotion (DEP), said that the DEP organized the Thailand Best Buy 2009 to display and sell products/services from all industries and businesses in anticipation of the upcoming New Year Festival. There were more than 700 companies with 1,000 booths in the event.

The event is aiming to promote the economy through products and services in the country in line with HM the King’s Sufficiency Economy philosophy. More than 300,000 participants are expected throughout the 10 days of the event.
