Bullion quoted at 15,900 baht per one-baht weight

BANGKOK, 25 September 2009 (NNT) – Gold bars were quoted at 15,900 baht per one-baht weight and gold ornaments were quoted at 16,300 baht per one-baht weight today.

Gold futures contracts in New York closed lower than US$1,000 today. Commodity Exchange (COMEX)’s gold futures contracts for December delivery closed at US$998.90 per ounce, down US$15.50 after trading in the range of US$1,021-991.30.

As for other precious metals, silver futures contracts for December delivery closed at US$16.295 per ounce, down 61.50 cents. Platinum futures contracts for October delivery closed at US$1,308.50, down US$19.30, and palladium futures contracts for December delivery closed at US$297.90 per ounce, up 25.00 cent.
