Bangkokians stock up goods after curfew announcement

BANGKOK, 19 May 2010 (NNT) – Residents of Bangkok flock to stock up necessary commodities and fill their vehicle tanks.

After the CRES’s curfew announcement throughout Bangkok, people have flocked to fill their vehicles at gas stations around the city. Several gas stations in Bangkok have been reported to run out of petrol for sale especially among PTT stations.

Meanwhile, fresh markets and supermarkets are bustling with people who shop for necessary commodities as they are concerned about the current situation. They are worried that the turmoil may prolong and the curfew will be extended.
