Alcatel-Lucent met NBTC for 3G bid progress

Mr. Worawit Jampachaisri, Sales Director at Alcatel-Lucent (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (right) met  The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC)’s Telecom committee chairman Col Dr. Settapong Malisuwan  recently to follow up the 3G 2.1GHz spectrum bid. Alcatel-Lucent believes this broadband bid definitely fuel the rapid growth of ICT infrastructure of Thailand, pushing the country’s rank of high competitiveness up to the forefront among the ASEAN countries.

 

Upon this visit, Alcatel-Lucent recommended to deploy a mix of next-generation technologies to meet different environment over the country. It shared its innovation which can deliver both network coverage and capacity; including small cells, lightRadio, and femto cells. All of them supports 3G and beyond to 4G LTE.
